ZnS glass

ZnS can be divided into raw ZnS and multispectral ZnS. Multispectral

ZnS is grown by the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. Multi

spectral ZnS is obtained from native ZnS through a hot isostatic

pressing treatment. ZnS has a transmission range covering visible

and infrared light. Multispectral ZnS features high hardness and

strong resistance to wind and sand erosion, and is widely applied in

the manufacture of IR windows and IR optical components.
